Workshare is part of the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program at Riverview Gardens. Workshare program participants volunteer 6 hours each week to help with CSA prep work. In exchange for their 6 hours of volunteer work, participants receive weekly CSA share of fresh produce from our organic, urban farm. CSA Prep Work includes: harvesting, washing/packing, cleaning-up farm workshop; CSA distribution. Produce is available for pick-up upon completion of 6 hours of volunteer during the week.
Eligibility is based on Referrals from Continuum of Care organizations or self-identified financial need. Workshare participants attend a special workshare orientation at the farm.
To apply, please download, complete and submit the 2017-workshare-instructions-and-application. If you have any questions, contact the farm staff at [email protected] or 920-358-0388. We work with participants to establish a realistic working environment, but cannot accommodate all limitations due to the nature of the work.
