The holidays can be difficult for many. It can be especially difficult for people in need, for people who have been disconnected from their families, for people working on a new and better path for themselves.
We recently hosted our 3rd Annual Holiday Shop. The Holiday Shop provides an opportunity for people who may not otherwise be able, to “shop” for gifts for their families. Participants can browse the tables and select individual gifts for their family members. From toys and shoes to pop sockets and bath sets, there are gifts for everyone. The Holiday Shop brings a little brightness and helps people reconnect with family during this special season.
Those using the Holiday Shop include Riverview Gardens’ ServiceWorks participants and other individuals from partnering organizations like COTS, Pillars and the Warming Shelter. Gifts are generously donated from the community, Riverview Gardens’ employees, and local businesses.
